Will OUYA sink or swim?
Wait, what? You never heard of Ouya. The next question you will ask is “what is Ouya?”. Ouya is a low cost Android powered gaming
console that was expected to be released on June 4, 2013 but was pushed back to
June, 25. The creators have stated that
the Ouya console is not intended to compete with the other consoles in the
market, namely the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. My opinion on the console is that if it
optimized and fits into the niche that it created, and then it would be a
success. At this stage, it too early to
judge the system based on the beta systems released. At this stage, I can see the Ouya being a hit
with children, families and causal gamers.
